The numbers are in and Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation is thrilled to announce this year’s Walk for Kids with Cancer has raised a RECORD-BREAKING $511,013 for childhood cancer!

On Sunday 26 March 2023, our annual scenic journey from The Rocks to Balmoral (13km) or Manly (27km), saw 1,059 supporters and 94 teams travel from the inner cities to outer suburbs, regional, rural and beyond to go all in for kids’ health – the largest crowd in the event’s 16-year history!

This incredible result would not have been possible without the phenomenal support of our Movement of Many, who laced up their walking shoes and called on their friends and family to donate.

To catch up on all of the fun and action, check out this year’s highlight reel.

Funds raised from this year’s event will go directly to the front line of children’s healthcare, supporting patients at the Kids Cancer Centre and the Cancer Centre for Children, like seven-year-old Oliver.

On behalf of all the children and families who will benefit from your support, thank you. Thank you to our unstoppable changemakers for making this year’s Walk for Kids with Cancer the best one yet.

Did you miss out on Walk for Kids with Cancer but ready to take on a personal challenge for sick kids? Join us on Sunday 13 August 2023 for the world’s largest fun run, City2Surf.
