The Emerald Ball is an annual event that raises much-needed funds for Kids Rehab at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
Families, friends, staff, volunteers and supporters of the children's rehabilitation community are warmly invited to attend this year's premier fundraising event, the Emerald Ball!
2016's ball was an overwhelming success for the event on many levels. We continued to consolidate a wonderful support network with sponsors and donors; we had another ‘sold out’ event with over 850 guests attending; we had an unbelievable line-up of entertainment including Vince Sorrenti as MCee and performances by Jimmy Barnes, Furnace & the Fundamentals and Comedian Tommy Little!
Most importantly, over $711,000 was raised for the Kids Rehab Unit.
This year, we are delighted to be hosting the 18th Annual Emerald Ball at the spectacular, all new, world-class International Convention Centre, at Sydney's Darling Harbour! To help celebrate our 18th anniversary, we have secured a stellar line-up of entertainment for the night! There will be lots of giveaways, prizes and an opportunity to secure some fabulous items from both the silent and live auction, and the chance to win a brand new car, thanks to our major sponsor McGrath Mazda Liverpool.
The Emerald Ball is an important event to raise money for children who have a range of disabilities including Acquired Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Limb Loss, Spinal Cord Injury / Disease, Spina Bifida and Complex Musculoskeletal Disorders. Every year, it becomes more and more difficult to provide essential medical and therapy services for these children and as a result funding is urgently needed.
