Leaping Livers

Here at the Liver Transplant Unit we rely on the generosity of our supporters to be able to help those in need.

Funds raised through events like Leaping Livers are crucial in enabling us to continue our work. We believe it’s important to raise awareness of childhood liver disease and liver transplantation, that’s why we started the Leaping Livers Lapping the Lagoon walk back in 2015.  The circuit is for everyone and is 9km, but you can do as little as 1km.

This year, we held our event on Sunday 23 July, once again at Narrabeen Lagoon and raised an incredible and record breaking $96,584!  We are so grateful to everyone that walked, sponsored, donated and helped to help us achieve this amazing result. Money raised from this event helps us provide some of the following for our patients; grocery vouchers for our families while their child in is hospital, three hours of music therapy to assist in creating a total healing environment and money raised can even help to fund research into liver disease. Every dollar counts.
