Roll up, Roll up! The Greatest Double Act is coming to Westmead

A Big Top will be rolling into The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for the Hospital’s biggest fundraising event of the year – Radiothon 2018.

On Friday, 12 October smoothfm and 7News Sydney will be broadcasting live as the Hospital transforms into a circus providing a big day of special acts, entertainment and fun activities for sick kids and their families. The Radiothon Appeal will aim to raise $4 million dollars to go towards lifesaving equipment, conduct research into childhood disease and deliver vital services to patients and families.

Radiothon 2018 will be a 24 hour appeal with all donations made between 6pm, Thursday 11 October to 6pm, Friday 12 October matched by a group of extremely generous donor sponsors. Every contribution - no matter how big or small – will be doubled. We rely on support from the community as well as individuals, corporates, schools, and our media partners, to give our patients and families the best possible care. The greatest double act on Earth is in your hands.

As part of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead provides specialist care for children from around Australia and across the Pacific Rim as well as community education, advocacy for improved child health and ground-breaking research into childhood illnesses, all in a positive, caring and healing environment.
