Join us on Bandaged Bear Day, Friday 26 February at a train station near you, to help celebrate the launch of our iconic fundraising appeal, that is on throughout March. Together, we can help raise $1 million to help sick kids and their families at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Our friendly team of volunteers will be out and about, selling limited-edition merchandise at Blacktown, Central, Martin Place, Parramatta, Redfern, Town Hall, Westmead, Wynyard, Maitland and Dubbo train stations. So, if you’re a Friday morning commuter travelling between 6am – 9.30 am, keep an eye out for our unmissable pop-up (and socially distanced, of course) stalls near the exits.
You’ll be able to buy awesome gifts for family and friends, like Bandaged Bear socks, rulers, keyrings, pens and even a Bandaged Bear plush that you can take home and call your own. Due to COVID-19, our beloved clip-on Bandaged Bear is still in hibernation this year. While we will miss him terribly and hope to see him back again in 2022, we do have a lot of other new and fun items to offer.
Every purchase – or donation – you make will help provide the best care to sick kids, no matter where they live or what their condition is. And of course we’ll have tap and go payments – so it’s easier for you.
If you can’t make it, you can still shop online. There are also so many other exciting ways your school, workplace and family can get involved in the Bandaged Bear Appeal this March. Your support will help fund more lifesaving equipment, vital research into childhood diseases and continue world-class services at the Hospital.
