About A Bear Affair
March marks a very special time in our calendar, where we celebrate Bear Cottage’s birthday. In 2022 we will be commemorating the 21st birthday of Bear cottage and look forward to celebrating this milestone at our much loved A Bear Affair.
Since its inception, A Bear Affair has raised over $5.5 million to support patients and families that rely on Bear Cottage for respite and end-of-life care.
Bear Cottage is the only children’s hospice in NSW – a very special place that is dedicated to caring for children with life-limiting conditions. Bear Cottage has access to some of the best medical resources in the world, but relies on community support to continue providing the best paediatric palliative care possible.
Over the past 19 years, A Bear Affair has raised over $5.5 million to support paediatric and palliative care programs at Bear Cottage.
