A Bear Affair

This year we are going virtual.

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation regrets to advise that the much loved A Bear Affair Gala at the Hyatt Regency on Saturday 22 August, will not be taking place as originally planned for 2020.   

Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, the health and safety of our Bear Cottage community including employees, patients and families must remain our number one priority.

However, we still want to mark the occasion and give you the opportunity to come together and support Bear Cottage through these critical times. We will be developing a virtual event which will include options for you to purchase special WISHES, so you may continue to provide support directly to the projects that are most important to you. 

In the meantime, we invite you to consider a 100% tax deductible donation to Bear Cottage - even if just for what would have been the cost of your annual ticket or table. Bear Cottage needs you now more than ever, and with your generous support children with life-limiting conditions will continue to receive the best paediatric palliative care possible.

$250 (the cost of a ticket)

Could go towards a thumb print necklace, providing special memories and ensuring families always have their children with them.

$2,500 (the cost of a table)

Could help chefs make yummy and healthy meals for our children, families and guests at Bear Cottage.
