Save the date: Bob Tug 2021, Sunday 28 March
Although our 2020 Bob ‘Tug’ Wilson’s Walk for Kids with Cancer could not go ahead as planned we still had overwhelming support from the community with over 650 people registering for the walk.
Even though the physical event was cancelled, we were still able to raise over $116,000 in much needed funds to support the Cancer Centre for Children at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
So many took on the virtual challenge in various ways including walking on a treadmill, burpees, star jumps & cycling on an exercise bike. Before social distancing restrictions came into effect ‘Team Grace Dubbo’ pounded the pavements of Dubbo for 27km - check out their video below!
We would like to thank to all our participants who signed up for the walk and those that took on our virtual challenge.
A big thank you to every single person who gave generously, your donations were so greatly appreciated, especially during these challenging times. A special thank you to our 2020 ambassador, Alma and her family for allowing us to share her story.
We look forward to an even bigger Bob ‘Tug’ Wilson’s Walk for Kids with Cancer on Sunday 28 March 2021.
In the meantime if you have any questions, please contact Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation Event Manager, Nicole Ilacqua.
