Team Bandaged Bear shows wave of support

On Sunday 11 August 2019, 950 Team Bandaged Bear supporters gathered for the world's biggest fun run, City2Surf

Dressed in their pink and blue singlets, Team Bandaged Bear entrants showed up in full force within the sea of 80,000 people who took up the 14km challenge from Sydney CBD to Bondi.

City2Surf is an annual event to support two very special places of care - The Children's Hospital at Westmead (CHW) and Bear Cottage. CHW and Bear Cottage make it their mission to care of sick children from all around NSW, Australia and the Pacific Rim.

Team Bandaged Bear raised over $414,000 in much needed funds to provide care and support for seriously ill children and their families in their time of greatest need.

We would like to thank to all participants who ran, walked, wheeled and skipped their way to the finish line. Thank you to all of our dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers on the day who kept the energy going in our after-party tent on Bondi Beach. Thank you to every single person who gave generously to support sick kids. Also, a big thank you to our Team Bandaged Bear City2Surf event sponsor, The Income Tax Professionals, for their generous support this year.
