Race for Grace 2020
Raised so far
The 8th Annual Race for Grace, is a 24-hour cycle challenge held inside The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Race for Grace takes place on Level 2, from 4pm Wednesday 25th March until 4pm Thursday 26th March 2020.
The event will again attract a number of high-profile individuals from all sporting codes, coming together for one special day to cycle and show their support.
In 2019 the event was a huge success, raising over $80,000 for much needed lifesaving medical equipment utilised inside the Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care
Race for Grace 2020 will be raising vital funds to purchase Dräger© Babytherm intensive care beds, valued at $17,401 each.
The Dräger© Babytherm intensive care bed is an open style, base heated warming system that improves access to the baby for both care providers and the family.
Our biomedical engineers will convert this bed into a mobile ICU bed with full ventilation, monitoring, battery backup and intravenous fluid pumps, so babies can be transported around the hospital for surgical interventions and imaging.
