Raising Elle! We're fundraising for The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care at The Children's Hospital at Westmead
I'm fundraising for The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care at The Children's Hospital at Westmead
The Grace Centre for Newborn Care at The Children's Hospital at Westmead is one of Australia's leading specialist medical centres for newborns, offering a safe and friendly healing environment for babies from NSW and beyond. The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care is a specialised unit where more than 600 premature newborns, neonates, and critically ill infants with complex medical conditions, such as serious cardiac and surgical disorders are treated.
I have chosen to participate in the Race for Grace challenge to raise much needed funds for The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care.
As many of you know, Eleanor was admitted to Grace last year. The unit supported her, and Shanelle and I, and we are eternally grateful. The race officially requires 11kms in 11 days during November. However, I aiming aiming for 186km over the month of November. 186km is the distance between Maitland Hospital and Westmead Children's Hospital.
