Celebrating the life of Tommy Cowley

By Charlotte Cowley

I’ve chosen to raise much needed funds for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation

Some of you will already know or will have followed the heartbreaking story of my younger brother- Tommy and his struggles in his short lived life with his battle against his birth heart defect.

He put up a good fight, touched many lives, including mine greatly, and inspired so many with his constant smiles and character all from such a young age.

It’s always sad to see such a shining individual burn out far too early and if love could cure, then he would have lived forever, but unfortunately Tommy passed away shortly after his second major surgery.

I’m making this page so that I can share with you all this amazing hospital and all that they do on a daily basis, but particularly as a thanks for being the home to my little brother for the 5 months of his battle.

Please, if you can spare anything, I would be so grateful if you could give to a cause that’s close to my heart, in memory and honour of Tommy...

The Children's Hospital at Westmead is one of Australia's leading specialist medical centres for children, offering a safe and friendly healing environment for children from NSW and beyond. The Hospital's expert medical staff care for more than 80,000 critically ill and injured children every year. That’s why I’ve chosen to raise much needed funds for The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
