Jasmin's Challenge - Shave and Colour 2021

By Mrs Mulkeen Assistant Principal

We're holding an event to raise funds for The Children's Hospital at Westmead!

On Thursday, 3rd June 2021, Narrabeen North Public School is again taking part in our annual SHAVE AND COLOUR EVENT to raise money specifically to assist children who are battling cancer in Westmead Children’s Hospital Oncology Ward. This will be our 18th consecutive year supporting this charity.

From 2004-2007 our school community was inspired by the incredible courage, constant smile and cheerful spirit of a delightful little student, Jasmin Holliday, who tragically lost her four-and-a-half-year battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma (bone cancer) in June 2007. Westmead Children’s Oncology Ward provided great support to Jasmin, her family and their friends throughout her long ordeal.

Even as a little Kindergartener, Jasmin was determined to help raise money “to help all the sick kids” that she’d met at Westmead Children’s Hospital. It is in her honour, and to show our ongoing support for her wonderful family that we are raising money for this worthy cause.
