Team Sumo

Team Sumo and a slight hiccup

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated.  It's been overwhelming to see so many of you be so generous to a cause close to my heart.

Tema Sumo has had a bit of a hiccup.  On Sunday 27/10 Sue (the Su part of Sumo) competed in the Nepean Triathlon as part of her training.  While on the swim leg she had a heart attack (technical term SCAD - Spontaneous Coronial Artery Dissection).  She cut the swim short but still managed to ride 30km so her team mate Lucia could complete the run.  However following medical advice Sue has been told to rest, to let this torn artery heal.

The result of this medical hiccup is that Western Sydney 70.3 2019 is not happening.  Both Molly and Sue have mixed feelings but health must come first.

Thanks again to all who donated.

Team Sumo and Western Sydney 70.3

Team Sumo consists of two crazy ladies who are up for a challenge - Sue and Molly.  Over the years we've participated in many events from running and cycling.  Our next challenge is a triathlon on 24/11.

Sue will swim 1.9km, then ride 90km.  She'll then hand the timing chip over to Molly, who will run 21.1km.

Bear Cottage has a special place in Sue's heart as she was able to witness the work they do for the families of terminally ill children and the patient.

Your donation will be much apprciated.

Thank you to my Supporters

Go team SuMo! xx
