We're fundraising for The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care at The Children's Hospital at Westmead
We're fundraising for The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care at The Children's Hospital at Westmead to give other babies like Orlando, the chance to survive and live a healthy and happy life.
We don't want any one to end up in our position, but if they do, we are confident that they are in some of the best hands at The Grace Centre. We didn't know a world like this existed but when we arrived, we realised very quickly that we weren't alone. The ward was full. Full of vunerable, sick, beautiful, fragile babies who needed a little extra help to push through their start in life. We owe Orlando's life to the Grace ward, it is as simple as that. Fundraisers like this help to ensure that they have the right equipment and resources to give other sick babies a fighting chance.
The Grace Centre for Newborn Care at The Children's Hospital at Westmead is one of Australia's leading specialist medical centres for newborns, offering a safe and friendly healing environment for babies from NSW and beyond. The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care is a specialised unit where more than 600 premature newborns, neonates, and critically ill infants with complex medical conditions, such as serious cardiac and surgical disorders are treated.
We have chosen to participate in the Race for Grace 24 hour cycle challenge to raise much needed funds for The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care.
